Everytime we touch, I get the feeling.

hey lovelies,
Just a quick blogpost!
The weather has been horrific lately! I wasn't able to wear my shorts today as its just too bloody freezing! Anyways, thank you to all of our loyal readers and followers (you know who you are xD), me and cara really appreciate all of the praise we're getting for buddingbeauties and we just would like to let you know how much we love you all. I've also been scrolling round all of the other adorable beauty blogs today, and I've got to admit that you guys have got so much to say, its almost unbelievable! But other than that my saturday has been horrible so far, I'm not very well and because we're getting the loft done, my room is totally crammed up with crap. :(
After reading that last blog entry that Cara did, I hate her for making me crave hot chocolate SO BADLY. Also Cara thinks that she didn't do well in that textiles exam but I am sure that you all agree that she really did do great. I also agree with her that dollybowbow.com is full of neat stuff, so take a look!

Thats me and my sister pictured above, miss that weather!

Barbies on the Barbeque..

Hey hot stuff!
Had such a hectic week, had my GCSE textiles exam on wednesday which i've been stressed about for quite a while, so I can't even begin to explain the weight that was lifted when I left the exam room. Hoping I got a good grade, I find out my results in August so fingers crossed!

I found these pictures whilst browsing the internet earlier, and couldn't help wanting to post them as their so cute! After seeing these pictures, I desperately felt like a hot chocolate, even though it kinda it summer now. (Well it is June, although its feels like bloody winter over here in London!) Its supposed to be reaaaally hot on sunday though, so i'm literally praying.

yum yum yum!

Also, would like to say a big thanks to Louise at www.thriveonnovelty.blogspot.com, shes buddingbeauties first follower and has also been kind enough to link us on her blog, shes a lovely girl so I thought i'd just say this little paragraph to show my appreciation!

Me and Holly recently found another website called http://www.dollybowbow.blogspot.com/, the girl runs a blog and a shop online and the stuff she sells are beyond cute! We havn't gotten round to buying anything yet but I suggest you check it out, I just think its too adorable. The website sells a bunch of necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings, and a few pieces of clothing at reasonable prices. Heres a couple of my favourite few bits i'd love to get round to buying..

This is beyond cute.

Me and hol want to buy these!

Thats all i've got to say right now folks, but just one more thing.. i'm going on a heat ban! yep, i've got far too many split ends and my hairs starting to thin, and the fact that I have GHD's (which are veeeerrryy hot!) do NOT help. So yeah, i've decided to stop using heat on my hair for a while. I've been a good girl and done so for the last two days, all i've been using is John Friedas Frizz Ease gloss mist, it gives my hair a nice kinda glossy finish.. I can't be bothered to do a proper description and post a pic right now, but will do so another time!

Till then.. take care!

Don't you think I was too young to be messed with? The girl in the dress cried the whole way home...

heeey beaut's!
First things first.. PLEEEASE follow us! you can follow us through google connect or blog lovin, or even just a comment would bring out spirits up, hehe. So if you do do any of these things, they'll be much appreciated.
I went shopping today with my mum and sister and I picked up a few bits and bobs to review. I only got them today so I will review each and every one of them the best I can...

The flower boho headwrap that is pictured in the photo above is perfect for the summer! Its is from Zara for £1.99. We bought two, one for my sister and one for me, and although it takes a long time to get it on right! its still a good, affordable buy.

Soap & Glory Mighty Mouth Lip Balm - £6.50 from Boots.

This Soap and Glory 'Mighty Mouth' lip balm is perfect for anyday! Its thick and shiny texture is appealing for the lips. It has a fruity taste that is good enough to eat and the tube contains 12ml which will last you a fairly long time as you don't need to use much each time you use it. The Soap and Glory brand can be found in all good drug stores, and I do agree its a little pricey but well worth the money!

John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine Perfecting Glosser

This attractive, gold bottle contains John Frieda 'Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine Perfecting Glosser' also from Boots and can be applied to wet or dry hair. The front of the tube clearly states that it 'illuminates + polishes' and I half agree with that statement at the moment, but its understandable as I've only used it once. I have noticed that it polishes my hair but not so much 'illuminates'. I will keep you up to date on if I've found any difference in my hair over the next few weeks.

Thank you for reading my reviews and I hope to review more on my next entry! Please excuse the lack of quality in the photos, had to use my phone as my camera decided to hide somewhere and not come out..

If i could turn back the hands of time, I swear I never would have crossed that line.

Hello lovelys!
How have you all been lately?! I'm still appalled with this crap weather over here in London, its actually the middle of June now and it was POURING down today, arggghhh! For the next few days i'll be revising for my textiles GCSE exam which is on the 22nd June, (2 hour exam, somebody help me?!) and i'm basically in panic mode. That pretty much sums up how my weeks been lately, completely and utter CRAP.

Moving on from the crap, I wanted to share with you my essential hair must haves, and two bits I picked up from shopping earlier. If you do have any questions or opinions to share, please do so!

These products are currently what I use in my hair from time to time again, some are new and some I have used for a while, so i'll give my individual opinions on each product.

Batiste Dry shampoo fresh - £2.35 from Boots.

This product can also be purchased from Superdrug, but their relatively the same prices so I just listed the Boots price. I absolutely LOVE batistes dry shampoo! My friend Sam introduced this to me a while ago, and since then i've never looked back.

Batiste Dry Shampoo comes in a large variety, from a large range of different fragrances to shampoos that suit the colour of somebodys hair. I've only ever tried batistes 'fresh' and 'original' I can't give an opinion on the other ones, but i'm sure their just as good.

Batistes promised to 'Revitalise greasy, dull and lifeless hair between washes, instantly leaving hair feeling clean, full of body and smelling fabulous', and I 100% back up this statement. When i'm probably in need of a shower in the morning but i've woken up late or i'm simply not bothered, i'll spray some of this into my roots, massage it in and my hair quite instanty feels light and fluffy, just as it should after washing it properly.

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder lightening spray - £6.99 from Boots.
I only recently saw this advertised on tv and was quickly interested, as I have what you would call 'dishwater blonde' hair, and this product promises to lighten your hair naturally, with control. So whilst out one day with Holly, I thought i'd grab myself a bottle to check it out. I always read reviews online before I buy a product, but the reviews seemed pretty good so I went ahead and brought it.

One of the reviews mentioned that they had to use the product six times before noticing much, and I found that after around four or five uses my hair had gone quite lighter. I wasn't bothered at all that it may take a while to show a difference though, because it proves that the spray is controlled. I was also pleased that friends and family members had noticed my hair had become lighter and had given me several positive comments, unaware I had brought this product.

I would strongly recommend this product, although I wouldn't recommend it for Brunettes wanting to dye their hair blonde, its only for blonde haired people wanting to lighten it. I can't speak on behalf of experience as i'm a natural blonde, although reading reviews, many brunette haired people mentioned that their hair was ruined through using this product.

Dumb Blonde Smoothing Stuff by TIGI - (I can't remember the price) available in hairdressers and salons.
I love this product! I use it every now and again after straightening my hair, as it promises to 'Help restore moisture in colour treated, processed hair, controls frizz and helps protect against UV damage'. I've noticed my hairs become quite softer after using this product several times, and I can't remember the price as I brought it ages ago, its lasted me ages!

This product is only available in hairdressers and salons, I brought this from my local hairdressers as my hairdresser uses this in my hair after washing and cutting it. Although I don't remember the exact price, I remember it being quite pricey, but i'd argue that its worth it. The texture itself is like a rose pink thick cream, although you only need a small amount and it smooths into your hair nicely; using too much might make your hair look quite greasy.

GHD Professional Iron Styling Spray (Not sure on the price, it was a gift!) - Available in hairdressers and salons.
This must be my favourite product. Its similar to my TIGI smoothing stuff, although sometimes I just prefer to use this. I trust GHD products 100%, and I also own GHD straighteners which are my babys. I'm unaware of the price as it was a gift, but its amazing! It kind of works as a hairspray, as it holds my heat styled hair, whether its straightened or curled, incredibly well.

I don't have really any negative views on this product, sometimes it can make my hair feel a little stiff, but I would expect that from a normal hairspray anyways. This spray also holds my hair really well through the horrible trek I have from my house to school, and the wind can be an absolute bitch at times to me!

Shorts - £32 from Hollister.

I love these shorts, their now my favourite piece of clothing for the summer. They go with basically everything, and their gorgeous aswell. Some of you may argue that £32 is pricey for a pair of shorts, but if you have little chicken legs like me, i'd strongly recommend them. Oh, by the way, please ignore my horribly pale legs in the picture above!

Thats all i've got for you chums today, so thankyou for reading!

summer loving.. not.

well hey there beaut!
Sorry for not blogging for a while, lifes been pretty boring and me and Holly have had no money to buy some bits to review, which sucks! To make matters worse, anyone who lives in London will understand that with the consistent coldness and rain, its certainly not feeling like the middle of June. Luckily, I should be heading out to the shopping centre tommorow with my friend Sam where theres a huge primark, so hopefully will have a few things to show off!

Anywho, Holly recently told me about a site called http://www.fashbo.com/ where people can upload pictures of themselves wearing clothes or something they've done with their hair or make-up, and people can make comments and rate it. So we have both signed up, we encourge you to do so to! Here is our current pages... feel free to click on the links under the pictures to comment or rate us, we'd very much appreciate it!

I don't have much else to blog about, although I just felt a need to blog to make it clear were still hereee!
And one last thing.. you may have noticed that the pictures we have took and posted are not smashing quality, but hey, were only fourteen and unforetunately do not own the best super duper professional camera! were planning on saving up for one though, and even if it takes us till Christmas, we'll get one!

Hope your all well, and pleeeeease comment if you come across our blog, much appreciated! Have you guys brought anything new lately? Share it with us!

Much love,

Holly mentioned below that we went out the other day and grabbed a few goodies, whilst we were in superdrug we thought we'd grab a beauty card each, they have little mirrors on them! too bad were under 16, therefore their unavalible to us, sad times. So here are a few pictures of what we purchased, yeah my camera isn't the best so sorry if anything is abit dark!

Girl, put your records on, tell me your favourite song...

heey beautiful!
On the weekend me and Cara went out and bought ourselves some goodies. :) Sorry for the bad quality photo, was taken on my mobile!

-Floral Headwrap - from New Look. RRP: £2.99
John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Lightening Spray - from Superdrug. RRP: £6.99
Bracelets - from New look RRP: £3.99
Flower Hair Accessory - from New Look RRP: £1.99

How's everyone's half term been? It was my birthday on the Wednesday and a small meal at tinseltown american diner was just right for me! It was great fun but the bill came up to about £106.00. So I would recommend it as a one visit diner as the food was way overpriced and they automatically added a £10.00 service charge to the bill even though the service wasn't all that great either! But it was worth it in the end for me as I got to spend a couple of hours bonding time with some of my closest friends.
Also, on the Friday, me and Cara got to watch the Hangover: part II in Barnet Odeon cinema, it got us falling off our seats laughing!

And you stood there in front of me, just close enough to touch...

Neutrogena Multi-Defence Daily Moisturiser - £7.99 from Boots.

Hey gorgeous!
Hope you've all been well, I thought i'd do a quick blog entry on a moisturiser I recently brought with Cara..

As part of my daily routine, I tend to use 'simple kind to skin hydrating light moisturiser' because I like to watch what I use on my skin, and the simple brand really is plain and simple! Its also quite a good moisturiser and sells at a good price, which is currently selling for just £3.25 at Boots. Despite this, it never quite made my skin fully hydrated as I have naturally very dry skin, so when I spotted neutrogena in the shops, I decided to buy and try it. It claims to hydrate skin that has dried out due to weather conditions, and I also thought this would be ideal as my skin can get dry just from walking to school, from nippy winds and the coldness. I've been using this moisturiser for about two weeks now and I gotta say, its really good! Its more summer than winter at the moment, but I still think its very hydrating and also has an SPF of 15.

The product can be brought at all good drug stores, and I decided to buy the one for 'dry and sensitive skin' but it also comes in 'normal/combination' and 'all skin types'.

*All my opinions are written from experience, so do not be startled if you have a different reaction to the products then i've had, were all different! Hope i've helped guys, and thanks if you actually read all of that!
